pzReV Petrzalka, Slovakia exemplifies a mono-programmatic urban condition, but also show-casing symptoms of suburban blight at the pedestrian ground level. The population of Petrzalka fluctuates on a daily basis with many commuting for work and leisure to nearby Bratislava, across the river. As such, the project begins by distinguishing and mapping out the commuter and community movements that occur in Petrzalka. The resulting lines and points employed in mapping translates to zoning ordinance and converging movement paths for the community and commuter at large. Further manipulation of context-derived diagrams are embued with the intention to strategically inject internal programs and densify the ground level and introduce programmatic variability.
